* Executive Director
The Larry Joe Harless Community Center is a nonprofit which opened in 1999.
It is a comprehensive health, education, and entertainment facility.
The LJHCC offers an indoor Olympic pool, gymnasium, fitness areas, meeting rooms, and a computer lab.
A community health care clinic operates within the building.
LJHCC recently added an entertainment venue of indoor miniature golf, a game room, a children's craft center, and a Hatfield McCoy Escape Room.
It serves the southern counties of WV and is located in Gilbert, Mingo County, which lies on the banks of the Guyandotte River and amid the growing Hatfield McCoy Trail System.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a leadership role with
management of staff and volunteers
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadline
- Financial oversight, marketing, events, food service, and program development
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in business development, strategic planning, grant writing, and compliance
- Building facility management knowledge
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities
You will report to the Board of Directors of the LJHCC.
The LJHCC.
org is open seven days per week, and your schedule would be based upon programs and activities.
Salary and benefits are commensurate with education and experience.
